For the past 2 weeks, it all felt a bit unreal, until I could finally hold it in my hands tonight...

I'm only starting to realize what this truly means to me, deep down. What it means to this little girl inside, my "inner artist", after years of being "locked up", and then, four years ago, finally mustering the courage to pick up a brush, buy her first canvas, go for it and never look back.

This is about following our dreams, trusting our inner voice and opening ourselves up to JOY. This is about my kids (even if right now they couldn't care less!). It's about showing them the way, so that one day, when they start to hear the whispers of their own hearts, they'll know better than to cover them with noise, and, hopefully, they'll allow themselves to listen, and trust, and follow their own paths.

For that matter, this is about all my loved ones. And about all of YOU, out there, somewhere, you whom I've never met and maybe never will, but who, somehow, are walking beside me for a little while.

Believe in your dream, believe in yourself. Trust your very own, unique journey. Sometimes there are unexpected turns in the road, sometimes we take a detour and feel like we're running backwards, sometimes we stand at crossroads and take a wrong turn. That doesn't mean we should give up on our dream, only maybe we need to reassess the way to reach it. Trust your inner guide, your inner voice, that little joyful, playful, magical child. And take the next step...
